In 2017, on Easter, I suddenly lost all sense of taste. I did not want to glorify the enemy by being fearful so prayed & let it go and dismissed it as something that would be corrected within His time. Fast forward to one year later: the ‘loss of taste’ was still an issue.  Easter was fast approaching & our online group wanted to gather together. Our sessions usually ended in prayer for one another.   Peter began to pray over me but quickly cut it short, asking for verification, if I still could not taste anything?  I said I could not.  He started praying and again cut his words short.  He received a Word of Knowledge & asked if I had any lemons or lemon juice?  This created an outburst of laughter from my Mom saying something like ‘how would she know, she doesn’t cook’  but I quickly went to retrieve said lemon juice. We resumed praying and then Peter asked me to touch the lemon juice to my tongue.  He asked if I could taste any thing? I said no.  He persisted in hearing from the Lord and asked me to try it one more time. You need to understand that lemons and I have a love/hate relationship... most people love them and I absolutely dislike them.

Upon trying one more time, I put the lemon juice on my finger and touched it to my tongue.  Immediately came a series of coughing & sputtering and not being able to get a drink of water fast enough!

My taste buds were back!! 

Little did I or any of us realize that God would perform a true modern day miracle for Easter the spot ...over the internet. This is my testimony of God who truly loves us in the little details as well as the big.   - Shelley
